Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jun Akiyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maicol Mena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mena has chosen Eminem-Not Afraid as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akiyama drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Mena scores with a one two! Akiyama had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Akiyama takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Mena misses with a series of wild punches.
Akiyama closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mena circles away.
Akiyama moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Akiyama avoids a punch combination nicely.

Mena lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Mena lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Akiyama circles away quickly and effectively.
