The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kawasaki throws a nice looking combination but Bull bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bull shoots in for a double leg but Kawasaki sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kawasaki thows a body shot but no joy.
Kawasaki throws a series of punches but Bull moves out of range.
A left and a right from Kawasaki both land. Nice combination.

It looks like Steve Bull has been cut.
Bull is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Kawasaki fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Bull wants to clinch.
Kawasaki just misses with a punch to the body.
Bull fails with a takedown attempt.
Kawasaki misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bull.

Robert Kawasaki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Bull.
Kawasaki takes a swing at Bull's ribcage but misses.

Bull looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Kawasaki is looking for a sweep. Bull is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Kawasaki might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Bull is trying to control. Kawasaki wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Kawasaki is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bull's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bull's back!

Kawasaki is trying to stick to Bull's back but Bull is turning into Kawasaki. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Kawasaki's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Bull.

Bull is posturing up here but Kawasaki has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Bull tries to roll out but it's too tight and Bull has to tap! Slick submission there by Kawasaki!
