The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nerr wants to clinch but Moreau slips to the side

and Moreau counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Moreau is trying to work for a kimura but Nerr is defending well.
Moreau scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Moreau thows a huge punch but Nerr dodges it nicely.
Moreau landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Nerr is trying to maintain the position but Moreau is very close to passing his half guard.
Nerr is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Moreau wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nerr keeps working.
