Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sauli Heilimo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Farkis Zaromis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Heilimo comes to the cage accompanied by ratamahatta. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sauli Heilimo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Farkis Zaromis!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heilimo shoots in and drives through. Zaromis sprawls well.
Zaromis throws a half hearted mid kick.
Zaromis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Heilimo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Zaromis manages to get to full guard.
Heilimo in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zaromis wants to get back to his feet but Heilimo is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Heilimo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Heilimo wants to pass the guard but Zaromis is keeping the position.
Heilimo is breathing heavily.

Zaromis controls Heilimo momentarily but Heilimo frees himself.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Zaromis is looking to slow Heilimo down with leg kicks.
Heilimo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Zaromis tries to avoid it but Heilimo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Zaromis to the ground. Zaromis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Zaromis throws a head kick but Heilimo moves out of range.

Heilimo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Zaromis is looking for a sweep.
Heilimo in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Heilimo cracks Zaromis with a big right hand but Zaromis just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Zaromis prevents Heilimo from moving into mount.
Heilimo misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Heilimo postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Heilimo tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Zaromis is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Heilimo is controlling him well.
Heilimo tries to move into full mount but can't pass Zaromis's legs.
Zaromis is looking to reverse the position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oooooh, big shot lands for Heilimo! Zaromis is hurt baaadly! Heilimo is firing away with more strikes - Zaromis is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
