Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andre Luis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kali Stevenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luis comes to the cage accompanied by Ja posso suportar!. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Leandro Rodrigues and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luis fails with a takedown attempt.
Stevenson dives in and grabs Luis's left leg, looking for a takedown. Luis pushes down on Stevenson's head and hops out.
Stevenson shoots in and drives through. Luis sprawls well.
Stevenson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Stevenson showed some decent athleticism there.
Luis might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Stevenson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Let's hope that Stevenson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Luis pushes Stevenson off looking to stand but Stevenson dives back in and keeps control.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Kali Stevenson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Luis missing with a left hand there. Stevenson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Stevenson has picked Luis up - he's going for a ride! Stevenson dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Stevenson wants to free his trapped foot but Luis is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Stevenson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Luis doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Stevenson.
