Rogers tries to bum rush Mousasi with a series of wild strikes but Mousasi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

It looks like Gegard Mousasi has been cut.
No joy there for Rogers, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Rogers tries to close the distance and clinch but Mousasi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Mousasi is working an open guard so Rogers takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Oh Mousasi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mousasi tries to stall but Rogers uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Rogers creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Mousasi with a big uppercut! Mousasi tries to clinch up but Rogers pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Mousasi to the mat! Mousasi covers up and Rogers unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
