Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clayton Churcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Fist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Fist will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Clayton Churcher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Fist!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Churcher shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fist as he jumps to the side.
Churcher showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Fist.
Fist misses with the combination.
Fist walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Churcher checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Fist misses with a double jab.

Churcher closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Churcher lands in his opponent's guard.

Churcher is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Fist really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Churcher. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Churcher drops back looking for a leg! Fist is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fist manages to kick Churcher off! Churcher jumps back into Fist's guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Churcher trying to control but Fist is working from the bottom.

Churcher tries to free his leg and advance position but Fist is retaining full guard.
Churcher slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Churcher wants to pass the guard but Fist is keeping the position.

Churcher prevents Fist from getting back to his feet.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Churcher fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Churcher takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Churcher is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Fist to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Fist shrugs it off.

Churcher is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Fist has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Churcher is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Fist is surviving well by controlling Churcher's body position as best he can.

Churcher controlling the pace for now.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Churcher is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Fist can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Fist is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Churcher locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Fist is forced to tap!
