Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vinnie Vincent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Azas Arroyo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vinnie Vincent!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Azas Arroyo!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vincent throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Arroyo was covering up waiting for the punch and Vincent finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Vincent postures up in Arroyo's guard and throws a big left but Arroyo blocks it.
Vincent makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Vincent scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Arroyo is trying to keep Vincent in close.
Vincent trying to control but Arroyo is working from the bottom.
Arroyo looking to control.
Vincent trying to control but Arroyo is working from the bottom.
Vincent throwing strikes but missing.
Arroyo wants to sweep here but Vincent controlling him for the moment.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Vincent's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Vincent lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Vincent trying to control the position from guard on top but Arroyo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Vincent is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Arroyo is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Vinnie Vincent just wasn't active enough.
Arroyo throws a wild body kick that Vincent sees coming a mile off.
Vincent slips a straight right by Arroyo.
Vincent checks a leg kick.

Vincent scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Vincent frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Vincent is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Arroyo to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Arroyo shrugs it off.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Arroyo is trying desperately to improve position.

Vincent is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Arroyo can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Arroyo is in a horrible position here. Vincent smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Vincent jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Arroyo manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Vincent wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Arroyo, who protects the arm well.
You can see the frustration on Arroyo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Vincent trying to control the position but Arroyo is working away.
Arroyo is trying to control Vincent's posture but Vincent avoids it.

Vincent tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Vincent is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Arroyo has escaped the position, nice work there.

Vincent goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Arroyo rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Vincent's guard! Nice work there by Arroyo!

Vincent has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Arroyo should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Vincent has tightened it up now! Arroyo should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Vinnie Vincent!
