Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gunnar Graungaard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hord Hirmuinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Graungaard might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Wretches & Kings. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hord Hirmuinen!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Graungaard pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hirmuinen is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Graungaard throws a head kick that misses
and Hirmuinen counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Hirmuinen uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Graungaard.
Graungaard looks to throw the jab but Hirmuinen is out of range.
Graungaard throws a lazy head kick

and Hirmuinen counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hirmuinen wants to work for an arm triangle but Graungaard is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Hirmuinen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Graungaard is just riding it out for now. Hirmuinen eventually gives up the hold.
Graungaard wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hirmuinen is trying to control. Graungaard wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Hirmuinen is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Graungaard!
Graungaard on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Graungaard tries to get out of the position.
Graungaard is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Graungaard might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Hirmuinen wants to finish this one by submission but Graungaard is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Hirmuinen.

Hirmuinen working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Graungaard looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Hirmuinen! Submission of the night perhaps?
