PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yamato Damashii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robbin Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Damashii comes to the cage accompanied by Ciemna Strefa. The crowd seem to be enjoying Gracie's choice of entrance music: Nervecell - Psychogenocide. Robbin Gracie will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie stuffs the takedown.

Gracie gets caught napping as Damashii dives in and scores a takedown. Gracie manages to retain guard.
Gracie wants to stand and escape but Damashii is having none of it.
Damashii slips nicely into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gracie tries to roll over but Damashii keeps him under control.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Gracie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Damashii swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Gracie leaves Damashii with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
