PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Miggery Sow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stuart Wray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sow might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Master P . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Stuart Wray!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wray takes a swing at Sow's ribcage but misses.
Sow tried to score with a low kick but Wray checks it.
Wray throws a front kick that sends Sow stumbling back into the cage.
Wray throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wray throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sow.
Wray throws a hook but Sow avoids it easily.
Sow misses with a wild body shot.
A good leg kick by Wray.
Sow looks to throw the jab but Wray is out of range.

The fighters circle momentarily. Sow darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Sow lands a nice hook to Wray's body. Wray takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Sow closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Sow works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Wray is not content to let Sow control the position.
Sow is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Wray will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Wray is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Wray is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Sow wants to control but Wray is keeping him busy.

That was a close round but I would say that Miggery Sow will probably get the nod.

Wray fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sow has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Miggery Sow.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sow, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
