The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carmichael throws a looping overhand right but Zaniboni ducks down to avoid it.
Carmichael throws the kick towards the body but Zaniboni avoids it.

Zaniboni feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Carmichael is pulling down on Zaniboni's head. It's preventing any offense from Zaniboni, at least for the moment.

After winning the bout, Dresden Carmichael thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
