The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitzgibbon misses with a double jab.
Fitzgibbon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Blatt circles away quickly and effectively.
Fitzgibbon closes this distance looking for a takedown but Blatt circles away.
Blatt dodges the punch combination from Fitzgibbon.
Fitzgibbon takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Fitzgibbon throws a leg kick but Blatt moved away.
Blatt uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Fitzgibbon has time to react.
Fitzgibbon does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Fitzgibbon loads up on a big right hand but Blatt slips the punch.
Blatt stuns Fitzgibbon with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Blatt will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fitzgibbon throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Blatt sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bon Kenneth Fitzgibbon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blatt throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Fitzgibbon stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Fitzgibbon misses with a wild body shot.

Fitzgibbon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Blatt moves away.

Blatt uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Fitzgibbon.

Blatt digs a good body shot into Fitzgibbon's ribs.
Fitzgibbon has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Blatt finds it's way round the side to connect with Fitzgibbon's head.
