Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raimonds Pravdivecs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson has chosen F**k Food by Tech N9ne as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Raimonds Pravdivecs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksandr Martynov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson shoots in for a takedown but Pravdivecs shows good takedown defense.
Pravdivecs closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Pravdivecs lands in his opponent's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Pravdivecs tries to stand but Jackson is controlling from the bottom.
Pravdivecs drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pravdivecs jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Jackson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pravdivecs manages to get himself to full guard.

Pravdivecs had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jackson defends it easily.

Pravdivecs seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Jackson wants to control from the top but Pravdivecs keeps moving.
Pravdivecs manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Pravdivecs is landing with some decent strikes but Jackson is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Jackson is in a horrible position here. Pravdivecs smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Pravdivecs has control of Jackson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Jackson regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Pravdivecs misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Pravdivecs has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Jackson's face.

Pravdivecs has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Mike Jackson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
