Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Drago Solovyov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jeedo Kimura!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Solovyov throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kimura dodges the punch combination from Solovyov.
Solovyov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Solovyov gets caught napping as Kimura dives in and scores a takedown. Solovyov manages to retain guard.
Solovyov manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Solovyov wants to control but instead Kimura manages to regain half guard.
Kimura keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Solovyov misses with a head shot. Kimura uses the momentum to regain guard.
Solovyov looking to sit in guard and control but Kimura gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Solovyov is looking for a triangle here but Kimura uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kimura has control of an arm but Solovyov manages to advance to Kimura's back!
Solovyov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kimura on the ground.
Kimura trying to control the hands but Solovyov breaks the grip.

Kimura trying to control the action but Solovyov just sinks the hooks in.

Solovyov is looking for a choke. Kimura gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Kimura manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.
Solovyov utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Solovyov wants to hit a switch here but Kimura passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Solovyov there!

Kimura has isolated one of Solovyov's arms. Solovyov looking to fight him off but Kimura twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
