The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bayer keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Bayer decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Bold trying to hold on to Bayer's head to control him but Bayer postures up.
Bold wants to get back to full guard but Bayer has mounted him!

Bayer looking to secure an arm triangle but Bold defends it well.
Bold swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Bayer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bold on the ground.
Bold tries to reverse the position but Bayer maintains control.
Bayer sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Bayer is landing with some decent strikes but Bold is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Bold somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!
Bayer fails with an attempt to clinch.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Bold fails with the takedown.
Bold throws a nice looking combination but Bayer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bold gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Bayer counters with a crisp right that sends Bold to the canvas! Bayer follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
