Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Paul Gruel and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dalton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Matsuia moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dalton misses with a jab, cross combination.
Dalton will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dalton lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Matsuia circles away quickly and effectively.
Matsuia fails with a takedown attempt.
A punch combination from Dalton misses.
Dalton throws a series of punches but Matsuia moves out of range.
Matsuia misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Dalton avoids the head kick by Matsuia.
Dalton slaps away a takedown attempt from Matsuia, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Matsuia tries to close the distance and clinch but Dalton swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Dalton throws a right and a left that Matsuia avoids nicely.
Dalton is looking to clinch but Matsuia is avoiding it.

Matsuia fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

You get the feeling that Dalton really doesn't like being in this position too much.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
