Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Ryoma Takatsuka and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foxton ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Foxton gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Foxton taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Foxton lands an uppercut.
Mir fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Foxton lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Mir backwards.
Mir tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Foxton smiles and moves away.
Foxton pushes Mir up against the cage in a clinch.

Foxton shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mir's guard.

Mir is looking for a triangle here but Foxton uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Foxton throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
You can see the frustration on Mir's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Mir is looking for a sweep.

Foxton throws an elbow but Mir slips to the side and avoids it well.
Foxton fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Foxton tries to score with some ground and pound. Mir controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Foxton creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Mir sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Foxton connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Mir some visible discomfort.
Foxton postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Foxton is trying to ground and pound but Mir uses the momentary lack of control by Foxton to regain half guard.
Foxton thows a huge punch but Mir dodges it nicely.

Foxton thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Foxton throws a strike but Mir manages to get a kimura sweep and he's found himself on top with the kimura half locked in! This would be a real turnaround! He's torquing it... Will Foxton tap??? YES! He's tapped! This one is all over!
