Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chavez Chavez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Da Mian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mian misses with a two punch combination.
Mian throws a right hand that Chavez ducks under and follows up with a left that Chavez also avoids with ease.
Mian shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Chavez as he jumps to the side.
Horrible takedown by Mian or perhaps it was just good defense by Chavez which made him look bad.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mian.
Chavez Chavez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Da Mian.
Mian is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chavez.
Mian looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mian swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Chavez tries to close the distance and clinch but Mian swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Mian darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Mian is looking for a kimura but Chavez is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mian to get the leverage.

Chavez wants to get back to his feet.

Mian stands up from half guard.
Jab, jab by Mian - just one landing.
Chavez gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Chavez takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Chavez is breathing heavily.
Mian bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Chavez's head backwards.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mian connects with a body shot that sends Chavez's belly button to the back.
The fight stays on the outside here - Chavez looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Chavez doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Mian scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Chavez doesn't seem bothered though.
Mian throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Chavez displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mian.
Chavez takes one to the chin there.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mian.

Chavez takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Mian fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Chavez looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Chavez leaves Mian with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Mian fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Chavez avoids it really well and circles away.

Mian shoots in looking for a takedown. Chavez tries to sprawl out of it but Mian keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chavez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Mian is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Chavez rather than just go for the knockout.

and Mian cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Chavez throws a low kick, looking for Mian's leg but Mian calmly moves out of range.
Da Mian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mian misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Chavez.
Mian dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Chavez keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Chavez drives through and clinches with Mian against the cage.
Chavez throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Chavez prevents a takedown attempt there.
Mian tries to score a body lock takedown but Chavez shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Mian gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mian is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Chavez doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mian.

Mian is trying for a kimura here. Chavez looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Mian wins by kimura!
