Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Holly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guto Culpado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Culpado has chosen Falling Slowly as his entrance music. Guto Culpado has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holly keeps the fight on the outside.

Culpado closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Holly's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Holly on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Holly tries to get out of the position.
Holly wants to sweep here but Culpado controlling him for the moment.

Culpado stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Holly swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Culpado cracks Holly with a solid left hand.

It looks like Bobby Holly has been cut.
Culpado chips away with some ground and pound.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Culpado postures up in Holly's guard and throws a big left but Holly blocks it.
Culpado tries to free his leg and advance position but Holly is retaining full guard.
Holly utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Culpado is working Holly over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Culpado wants to pass the guard but Holly is keeping the position.
Culpado throws a strike but Holly rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Culpado working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Holly doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Holly manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Culpado doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Culpado is looking for a triangle but Holly pushes his legs off easily.
Holly's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Culpado looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Holly got a little sloppy there for a moment and Culpado has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Holly has managed to get both his arms back between Culpado's legs - danger averted.

Culpado had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Holly defends it easily.

Culpado is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Holly has his hands clasped together but Culpado extends an breaks Holly's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Culpado.

A determined Guto Culpado didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
