Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Ak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ex Perimental (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergei Ak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ex Perimental!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Illya Tyunina and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perimental misses with a body shot.
Decent striking displayed by Ak there.
It looks like Ex Perimental has been cut.
Ak fails to land with a series of punches.
Perimental tries to sprawl but Ak drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Perimental is defending against the submission attempts here by Ak.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ak is working for a submission of some sort.
Ak with the ground and pound but Perimental uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Ak stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Perimental swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Perimental is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ak's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ak's back!

Perimental connects with a body shot that sends Ak's belly button to the back.
Ak shoots in looking for a takedown but Perimental manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ak's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Perimental misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Perimental changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ak looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Perimental creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Ak sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Ak gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Ak is staying active underneath Perimental, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Sergei Ak will probably get the nod.

Ak shoots in but Perimental avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Ex Perimental has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
A bone on bone clash there as Ak blocks the leg kick.
Ak with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Ak avoids the head kick by Perimental.
Ak shoots for a double leg takedown but Perimental sprawls well. He's pushed Ak's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ak swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Perimental misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ak.
Perimental smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
It looks like Sergei Ak has been cut.

Perimental wants to slow Ak down by chopping away at his legs.

Ak misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Ak swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Perimental is now in Ak's guard. A big mistake from Ak there, giving up the dominant position!

Ak looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Perimental has picked Ak up and slammed him! Ak can't keep hold of the triangle and Perimental manages to pass to side control!
Ak sneaks back into half guard.
Ak is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Perimental pulls his head out easily.
Ak slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Ak looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Ak looking for a sweep. Not yet Ak, not yet.
Perimental throwing strikes but missing.
Ak manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Perimental manages to get himself to full guard.
Sergei Ak is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ak throws an elbow that misses. Perimental uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ak's guard. Nice move by Perimental!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ak, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
