Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Michal Iksinski!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Illya Tyunina and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iksinski rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Coulter moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Iksinski misses with a jab, cross combination.
Nice takedown defense from Iksinski. No joy for Coulter on that attempt.
Iksinski throws a right hand that Coulter ducks under and follows up with a left that Coulter also avoids with ease.
Michal Iksinski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Iksinski throws a series of punches but Coulter moves out of range.
Iksinski circles away from the clinch attempt
and Iksinski counters with a series of strikes. Coulter will be more careful next time no doubt.
Iksinski wants to clinch up but Coulter keeps it at a distance.
Iksinski shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Coulter counters with an inside leg kick.
Coulter shoots in looking for a takedown. Iksinski tries to sprawl out of it but Coulter keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Iksinski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Iksinski shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Coulter sprawls well. Coulter wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Iksinski gets slowly back to his feet.

Coulter shoots in and bounces Iksinski off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Coulter is looking for a triangle but Iksinski pushes his legs off easily.

Iksinski takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Iksinski is looking to take a break and control but Coulter is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Coulter shoots in and gets a takedown into Iksinski's guard.
Iksinski bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Coulter's guard.
Iksinski stays in close to Coulter's body and controls the position.
Iksinski stands and throws Coulter's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Iksinski trying to control the position but Coulter is working away.
Coulter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Iksinski on the ground.
Iksinski tries to advance to mount but can't.
Coulter tries to escape but Iksinski is in control.
Iksinski wants to lay and pray for a moment but Coulter keeps working.
Coulter is looking for a sweep.

Coulter pushes Iksinski away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Iksinski gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Let's hope that Iksinski has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Coulter is not content to let Iksinski control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Iksinski prevents Coulter from escaping the position.

Coulter is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Iksinski asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Iksinski works to advance to full mount. Coulter defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Coulter is wriggling around trying to escape.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Michal Iksinski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


No luck with that takedown attempt from Coulter.

Iksinski manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Coulter on his heels. He'll look to pass Coulter's guard now, I'm sure.
Iksinski wants to control from the top but Coulter keeps moving.
Coulter might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Coulter isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Iksinski stacks Coulter on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Iksinski!
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Coulter is trying to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Coulter is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Iksinski has hold of Coulter's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Coulter tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Iksinski cranks the arm and Coulter screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Coulter, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
