The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crowe throws a jab but it's blocked by Emmerich.

It looks like Raymond Crowe has been cut.
Emmerich will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Crowe throws a left that rocks Emmerich and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Crowe dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Emmerich regain composure!

Emmerich is rocked!

It looks like Frank Emmerich has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Let's hope that Crowe has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Despite being in the dominant position, Raymond Crowe just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Crowe can do anything to dispel that myth.

Emmerich shoots in looking for a takedown. Crowe tries to sprawl out of it but Emmerich keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Crowe manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
