Rockwood fails in his attempt to clinch.
Rockwood will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Rockwood misses with a takedown
and Gualco decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rockwood's guard.
Gualco scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Rockwood wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gualco throws an elbow that misses. Rockwood uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Gualco's guard. Nice move by Rockwood!
Gualco wants to stand up but Rockwood is controlling him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gualco lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Rockwood!

Gualco has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Rockwood is rocked!
Gualco loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Rockwood scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Gualco land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Gualco stands and salutes the crowd.
