The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paisti lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Paisti throws a half hearted mid kick.
Paisti throws a hook to the side of Ashton's head but Ashton sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A jab from Paisti does it's job there.
Ashton looks for a takedown but Paisti sprawls well.
Paisti explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Paisti's jab looks to have found its range, popping Ashton under the eye.

Paisti gets a clinch.
Paisti connects with a knee to the head.

Ashton shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Paisti sprawls well. Paisti wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ashton gets slowly back to his feet.

Ashton is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Paisti to keep the fight standing.

Paisti breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Paisti breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Paisti goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Paisti cracks a nice hook into Ashton's ribs.
Ashton avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ashton moves away from the strike by Paisti.
Ashton has his takedown stuffed
and Paisti counters with a head kick. That will keep Ashton thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Armas Paisti is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Paisti misses with a body kick.
Sloppy strikes from Ashton. Those never looked like landing.
Ashton closes the distance and clinches up with Paisti, looking for a takedown. Ashton pushes Paisti against the cage but Paisti circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nice sprawl there from Paisti as Ashton shoots in.
Ashton shoots in but Paisti avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Paisti lands with an overhand left.
Paisti moves into range and connects with a jab.
Paisti lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Albert Ashton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Paisti throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Paisti lands a glancing blow to the side of Ashton's head.
Ashton looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
This has been an exciting period of action!
BOOM! Paisti lands a beautiful left hook that drops Ashton. Ashton tries to recover but Paisti is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Ashton lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
