Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Augusto Frota (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mason Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mason Dixon looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Augusto Frota!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mason Dixon!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jorge Garcia and Steve Montenegro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frota lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Dixon looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
A combination from Frota does no damage.
Frota throws a series of punches but Dixon avoids them all with ease.

Dixon gets caught napping as Frota dives in and scores a takedown. Dixon manages to retain guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Dixon has hold of Frota's hands but Frota slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Frota winds up and cracks Dixon with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Frota lands a nice short elbow.

Frota wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dixon keeps working.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Frota connects with a nice short shot to Dixon's temple.
