Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between BJ Penzinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pirko FloFlop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). FloFlop has chosen A' The Blue Bonnets as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that BJ Penzinski has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily BJ Penzinski seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pirko FloFlop!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Penzinski darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Penzinski looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Penzinski is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so FloFlop is just riding it out for now. Penzinski eventually gives up the hold.

Penzinski trying to work for an americana but FloFlop has managed to regain full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Penzinski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. FloFlop swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Penzinski passes FloFlop's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Penzinski is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. FloFlop doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Penzinski.
FloFlop is looking for a sweep. Penzinski is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
FloFlop is looking to control Penzinski's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can FloFlop avoid being mounted?

Penzinski is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so FloFlop is just riding it out for now. Penzinski eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Penzinski is working for a kimura but FloFlop is defending it quite comfortably.
Penzinski is breathing heavily.
FloFlop wants to control but Penzinski is keeping busy.
Penzinski wants to free his trapped foot but FloFlop is holding on for dear life with his legs.
FloFlop is looking to escape.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Penzinski tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
FloFlop throws a head kick that misses.

Penzinski has FloFlop up against the cage in a clinch.
FloFlop looking to throw knees to the head but Penzinski is blocking nicely.
FloFlop gets underhooks to prevent Penzinski's takedown attempt.
Penzinski fails to pull guard.

FloFlop breaks the clinch.
Penzinski throws a body kick that misses.

Penzinski closes the distance and clinches.
FloFlop keeps control of Penzinski as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

FloFlop manages to break the clinch.
Pirko FloFlop seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
FloFlop misses with the combination.
FloFlop tries a head kick but it misses.
FloFlop misses with a jab, cross combination.
Penzinski looks for a takedown but FloFlop sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for BJ Penzinski. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Penzinski looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Penzinski shoots in but no luck this time.
FloFlop misses with a takedown attempt

and Penzinski counters with a nice double leg into side control. FloFlop won't be happy with that.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
An elbow from Penzinski crashes against the mat.
Penzinski advances to mount.

Penzinski looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Penzinski working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. FloFlop turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Penzinski off and cradles FloFlop's limp body as Penzinski celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). BJ Penzinski!
