PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Justin Credible (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blake Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wallace has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. On his way into the cage it seems that Justin Credible has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Justin Credible seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Justin Credible!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Blake Wallace!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Sano and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wallace looks gassed!
Wallace needs to keep his hands up - Credible had a free shot at his head there.
Wallace stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wallace wants it to stay on the feet.

Credible fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wallace, pushing him back against the cage.
Credible fails to pull guard.

Credible pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Credible.
Credible throws a head kick that misses.
Credible shoots for a double leg takedown but Wallace sprawls well. He's pushed Credible's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Credible looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Wallace is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Credible tries to pass to full mount but Wallace defends it.

Credible looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Wallace has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Credible is working away from the top position though.

We're going to have a standup here because Justin Credible wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Wallace is looking to improve his position but Credible isn't that keen on the idea.

Wallace is bucking up trying to escape but Credible cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Credible is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Wallace to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Wallace shrugs it off.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wallace is in a horrible position here. Credible smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Credible takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Credible tries to close the distance and clinch but Wallace swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
