Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Paul Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Forrest Bonnar!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Chris Saunders and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Smith looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bonnar swings and misses with a hook to the body.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Smith.
Paul Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith slips a jab and a cross from Bonnar.
Smith lands a head kick. Bonnar smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Smith changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bonnar tries to avoid it but Smith manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bonnar to the ground. Bonnar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Smith dips to his left and cracks Bonnar with an uppercut!
Smith lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bonnar circles away quickly and effectively.
Smith tries to clinch but Bonnar is having none of it.
Bonnar misses with a double jab.
Bonnar throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Smith lands a front kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bonnar takes a head kick and keeps coming.

It looks like Forrest Bonnar has been cut.
Smith misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Smith plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Bonnar looks to score with a jab to the body but Smith is just out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Smith misses with a wild body shot.
Smith with a hook.

Bonnar is rocked!
Smith fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Bonnar is still on wobbly legs! Can Smith finish him?
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Smith. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Smith throws a series of punches but Bonnar moves out of range.
Smith connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Bonnar! He's out on his feet! Smith rushes in and drops Bonnar with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
