PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between TJ Styles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Rapport (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Styles comes into the arena with Underground Kings blaring out of the sound system. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Greg Rapport!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Josh West and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rapport is defended easily by Styles.

Rapport shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Rapport not doing much here.
Styles is looking for a sweep. Rapport is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Let's hope that Rapport has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well Rapport has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
