PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Spede Jussi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pena Trasseli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trasseli has chosen Look at my horse! as his entrance music. Pena Trasseli will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trasseli takes a swing at Jussi's ribcage but misses.

Jussi shoots in and bounces Trasseli off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Jussi is looking to work some ground and pound but Trasseli has wrist control.
Trasseli looking for a sweep. Not yet Trasseli, not yet.
Trasseli pulls Jussi in close to prevent any damage.
Trasseli throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Jussi throws a big elbow that misses.

Trasseli is looking for a triangle but Jussi pushes his legs off easily.

Jussi drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Trasseli manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jussi has Trasseli in his guard.

Jussi has his foot on Trasseli's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Trasseli works his way back into a safe position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jussi manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Trasseli manages to get himself to full guard.
Jussi cracks Trasseli with a solid left hand.

Trasseli is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Trasseli lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.

Trasseli working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jussi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jussi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Trasseli is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Jussi frees his head nicely. Oh but Trasseli has switched to an armbar! Jussi is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
