Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Sergei Dronov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nara avoids the body shot from Smokeleaf.
Angelo Smokeleaf seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nara throws a good cross that connects.
Sloppy strikes from Nara. Those never looked like landing.
Nara swings for the body but Smokeleaf moves out of range.
Smokeleaf throws a head kick that half lands.

It looks like Say Nara has been cut.
Smokeleaf will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Nara avoids a punch combination nicely.

A looping hook to the body misses from Smokeleaf. Nara does a little dance to reset his feet.
Smokeleaf throws a leg kick but Nara sees it coming and moves out of range.
Nara misses with a left hand
and Smokeleaf makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Smokeleaf scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Nara doesn't seem bothered though.
Smokeleaf lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Nara has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Smokeleaf.
Nara misses with a lunging right hand
and Smokeleaf counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Smokeleaf lands with a kick to the temple. Nara shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Nara drives through with a takedown into Smokeleaf's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Angelo Smokeleaf just wasn't active enough.

A solid body kick from Smokeleaf.
Smokeleaf misses with a low kick.
Smokeleaf tries a head kick but it misses.
Smokeleaf throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Smokeleaf jabs Nara to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Nara looks gassed!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Nara.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Smokeleaf can't do much from the bottom here.
Smokeleaf wants to get back to his feet.

Smokeleaf is not content to let Nara control the position.
Nara creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Smokeleaf sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Nara misses with the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Nara throwing strikes but Smokeleaf manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Nara is looking for a sweep.

Smokeleaf misses with a head kick.
Smokeleaf throws a solid leg kick but Nara takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Smokeleaf.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Smokeleaf. Nara shrugs it off though.
Smokeleaf is looking to wear down Nara with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Smokeleaf fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Nara.
Nara lands a nice hook to Smokeleaf's body. Smokeleaf takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
A slapping body kick lands there for Smokeleaf.

Smokeleaf closes the distance and clinches.
Nara is trying to break free.
Nara is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Smokeleaf obliges.

Nara swings wildly with an uppercut but Smokeleaf uses good head movement to avoid it.
Smokeleaf gets through Nara's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Nara is trying to break the clinch but Smokeleaf has him pressed against the cage.
Smokeleaf lands a nice elbow.
Smokeleaf blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Nara breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Nara throws a low kick, looking for Smokeleaf's leg but Smokeleaf calmly moves out of range.

Smokeleaf lands a jab to the nose.

Smokeleaf lands a big head kick that sends Nara to the canvas! Smokeleaf follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
