The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bang throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Bang moves into the clinch.
Bang tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kolesnichenko avoids it.
Bang gets through Kolesnichenko's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Bang throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kolesnichenkos head.
Kolesnichenko stalling in the clinch but Bang improves position.
Kolesnichenko can't get the takedown.
Bang prevents a takedown attempt there.
Bang lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Bang lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Kolesnichenko backwards.

Bang works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ali Bang.

Bang tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Kolesnichenko is trying desperately to improve position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The referee warns Kolesnichenko that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Bang closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Kolesnichenko! Bang dives in looking to finish! Kolesnichenko is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
