Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ray Richardson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Sptinter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ray Richardson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Harry Sptinter!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Steve Erwin and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richardson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sptinter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Richardson somewhat.

Richardson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Sptinter to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Richardson tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Richardson thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Richardson has a closed guard, preventing Sptinter from standing up.
Sptinter won't allow Richardson to sweep him here.
Richardson controls Sptinter momentarily but Sptinter frees himself.
Sptinter wants to control from the top but Richardson keeps moving.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Richardson is on top in guard.

Richardson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sptinter has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Richardson has managed to get both his arms back between Sptinter's legs - danger averted.
Richardson stands up over Sptinter, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Sptinter wants to sweep here but Richardson controlling him for the moment.
Richardson is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Richardson tries to free his leg and advance position but Sptinter is retaining full guard.
Sptinter wants to sweep but no luck.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Richardson is working Sptinter over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Richardson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Richardson working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Sptinter's head.
Sptinter is still in real trouble! Can Richardson finish him?

Sptinter tries to land knees in the clinch but Richardson avoids the damage to the body.

Richardson has Sptinter pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Richardson pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Sptinter tumbling to the mat - Richardson dives into Sptinter's guard.
Richardson connects with a couple of short punches.
Richardson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Sptinter looks gassed!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Richardson postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Sptinter covers up, he's hurt! Richardson keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Richardson and the ref steps in to end the fight! Richardson can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
