Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Janos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lobsta Mang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Janos comes into the arena with Predator Theme blaring out of the sound system. Mang comes into a darkened arena with his song building. They Try Ta Boil Me kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

letting Mang counter with a right hand.
Jim Janos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Mang counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Janos is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Mang misses with a hook. Janos ducked under it nicely.

and Mang counters with a head kick. That will keep Janos thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Mang shoots in looking for a takedown. Janos tries to sprawl out of it but Mang keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Janos manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Mang throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Mang counters with a nice leg kick.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Janos checks a leg kick.
Janos lets loose with a powerful body kick. Mang will feel that in the morning.
Janos tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mang paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Mang counters with a good, hard body kick but Janos shrugs it off.

Janos tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Mang manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Mang is nestled in close to Janos, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mang wants to control but Janos is keeping him busy.

Mang is looking to advance position but Janos won't allow it.
Well, if Mang is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Mang wants to take a breather but Janos is having none of it.
