Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Edson Gomes and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Pasca has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Marcos is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Pasca has Marcos pressed against the cage, preventing Marcos from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Marcos wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Pasca wants to take the fight to the mat but Marcos manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Marcos is trying to break the clinch but Pasca has him pressed against the cage.
Marcos wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Pasca has him pressed against the cage.
Pasca tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Pasca. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pasca is working for takedown but Marcos is calmly controlling the position for now.

Marcos is trying to push Pasca away but Pasca has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Pasca has Marcos pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Marcos manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Marcos breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A nice combination there by Marcos.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Marcos fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pasca looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Marcos tries to bum rush Pasca with a series of wild strikes but Pasca uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Marcos throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pasca.
Pasca fails in his attempt to clinch.
Marcos cracks Pasca with a right hand to the side of the head.
Marcos cracks Pasca with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Pasca falls to his knees and Marcos doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
