Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Steve Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Koki Smokey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steve Jones has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smokey stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Smokey wants it to stay on the feet.
Jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Smokey fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jones sprawls well initially but Smokey persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Smokey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Smokey got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jones has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Smokey has managed to get both his arms back between Jones's legs - danger averted.

Smokey escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jones gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Jones is pushing down on Smokey's leg trying to pass to half guard. Smokey is fighting to maintain full guard but Jones has managed to sneak the leg through.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
