Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Boyka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Teller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Teller's choice of entrance music: God's Gonna Cut You Down by Johnny Cash. Jackson Teller told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Yuri Boyka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jackson Teller!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyka throws a low kick, looking for Teller's leg but Teller calmly moves out of range.
Boyka shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
letting Teller counter with a right hand.

Boyka closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Teller quickly recovers to half guard.
Boyka thows a huge punch but Teller dodges it nicely.
Boyka is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Boyka tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Boyka looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Boyka throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Boyka stands up out of the half guard.
Teller swings away with a leg kick that misses.
A slow jab from Teller misses its intended target.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Boyka blocks a jab.
Teller leaves Boyka with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Boyka takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Boyka takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Teller lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Boyka shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Teller counters with a nice uppercut.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yuri Boyka. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boyka checks the leg kick nicely there.
Boyka tries for a takedown but Teller sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Boyka gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Nice jab there from Teller.
Boyka gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Teller counters with a left and a right that stings Boyka.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Teller throws a low kick but Boyka moves out of range easily.
Boyka has his takedown stuffed
and Teller counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Teller scores with a hook to the body. Boyka takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Boyka looks to clinch
and Teller counters with a stiff right hand.
Teller displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Boyka.
Teller ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
A punch lands to the side of Boyka 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Teller lands a jab-cross combination.
Teller throws a one two combo.
Boyka doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Teller connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Nice takedown defense from Teller. No joy for Boyka on that attempt.
Jackson Teller is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Teller lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Boyka is rocked!
Teller feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Boyka crashing to the mat! This one is all over!

Jackson Teller decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
