Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jorge Garcia and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilkins lands with a thumping leg kick.
Wilkins scoring well with a low kick there.
Babuckiy on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Wilkins. Wilkins obviously looking to wear him down.
Wilkins closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Babuckiy takes an elbow to the temple.
It looks like Danik Babuckiy has been cut.
Wilkins goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Babuckiy can't break the clinch.
Babuckiy tries for a takedown but Wilkins manages to get underhooks.
Wilkins tries a body shot but Babuckiy blocks it.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Wilkins misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Wilkins tightens his grip and picks Babuckiy up, before dumping him to the ground. Babuckiy manages to land in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Babuckiy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wilkins doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wilkins manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Wilkins sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Babuckiy's guard.
Wilkins tries to pass the half guard into mount. Babuckiy knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Wilkins is looking to take a break and control but Babuckiy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Babuckiy takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Babuckiy is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Wilkins's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Babuckiy wants to get back to his feet.
Babuckiy is staying active underneath Wilkins, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Wilkins might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Babuckiy kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Wilkins trying to control but Babuckiy is having none of it.

Wilkins tries to control but Babuckiy wriggling away.

Wilkins looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Wilkins connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The referee warns Babuckiy that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wilkins lands a big elbow.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Babuckiy is in a horrible position here. Wilkins smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Wilkins postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Babuckiy in real trouble here! The ref calls for Babuckiy to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). CJ Wilkins!
CJ Wilkins bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
