Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donnie Alto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Donnie Alto has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Alyssa Summers and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alto shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Robinson as he jumps to the side.
Alto fails with a takedown attempt.

Alto has taken the fight to the clinch.
Robinson on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Alto tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Robinson just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Donnie Alto. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Alto has Robinson pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Alto pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Robinson tumbling to the mat - Alto dives into Robinson's guard.
Robinson wants to control the position but Alto says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Robinson is trying to control but can't.
Robinson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Robinson wants to control but Alto is keeping busy.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Robinson can do anything to dispel that myth.

Robinson tries to roll over but Alto keeps him under control.
Alto throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Alto tries to pass the half guard into mount. Robinson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Robinson controlling the position well.
Robinson tries to get to full guard but Alto has control of the leg.
Robinson is not content to let Alto control the position.

Donnie Alto has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Alto misses with the combination.
Alto looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Robinson is fending him off so far but Alto persists. Nope, Robinson circles away and we're back to standing.

Alto gets a clinch.

Alto breaks the clinch.
No luck for Alto with that takedown attempt.
Alto shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Robinson defends it nicely.
Robinson stuffs the takedown.

Robinson is looking to clinch but Alto is avoiding it.
Alto tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Robinson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Robinson blocks a head kick by Alto.
Horrible takedown by Alto or perhaps it was just good defense by Robinson which made him look bad.
Alto misses with a takedown attempt - Robinson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Alto tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Robinson swivels and escapes.

Robinson has Alto up against the cage in a clinch.

Alto drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Robinson is trying to break free.
Robinson stops a takedown attempt from Alto.
Alto tries for a takedown but Robinson manages to get underhooks.

Alto pulls guard effortlessly.
Robinson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Donnie Alto dominated that round.
That's time! Alto's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Alto cracks Robinson with a good jab.
Alto lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Robinson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Alto circles away.
Alto looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Robinson is fending him off so far but Alto persists. Nope, Robinson circles away and we're back to standing.
Robinson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Alto manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Nice takedown defense from Robinson. No joy for Alto on that attempt.
Robinson takes one to the side of the head.

Robinson is rocked!

Alto is trying hard to land a takedown here. Robinson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Robinson is still on wobbly legs! Can Alto finish him?

Robinson slaps away a takedown attempt from Alto, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Alto throws a leg kick which misses Robinson's front leg but catches the back leg as Robinson tries to avoid it.
Robinson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Alto sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Robinson somewhat.
Robinson is breathing heavily.
Robinson shoots for a double leg takedown but Alto sprawls well. He's pushed Robinson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Alto! This one is all over!
