Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shissi Aren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colton Washington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aren comes to the cage accompanied by The Hood by Dead Prez. Washington has chosen No Way by Dream Evil as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Washington gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Aren cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Aren swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Washington counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Aren swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Aren tries to sprawl but Washington drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Washington throwing shots but Aren is blocking nicely.
Washington is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Washington wants to work for an arm triangle but Aren is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Washington looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Washington wants to take a breather but Aren is having none of it.
Aren won't allow Washington to pass to mount.
Washington works his way into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Washington has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Aren is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Washington.

Aren escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Washington gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Washington is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Aren is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Washington is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Aren's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Aren's back!
Washington is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Aren has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Washington has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Aren taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Washington doesn't care though - he's delighted!
