Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gregory Watson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Burbank Rocksalt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Watson comes to the cage accompanied by Ektomorf - Show Your Fist. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rocksalt shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Watson but Watson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Rocksalt walks forward, straight into a front kick from Watson.
Watson looks to score with a jab to the body but Rocksalt is just out of range.
Rocksalt tries to close the distance and clinch up but Watson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Both fighters circling a little - Watson finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Watson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Rocksalt looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
