PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Seanchai The Thai Zombie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Loktar Ogar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Loktar Ogar!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Daniel Blasius and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Thai Zombie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ogar defends it nicely.

A momentary lapse in concentration from The Thai Zombie enables Ogar to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. The Thai Zombie manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The Thai Zombie will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Ogar is looking to work some ground and pound but The Thai Zombie has wrist control.
Ogar pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. The Thai Zombie is keeping the position for now.
Ogar is working The Thai Zombie over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The Thai Zombie preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ogar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ogar working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of The Thai Zombie 's head.

Ogar is working The Thai Zombie over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Ogar lands a couple of elbows.
Ogar working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Ogar passes The Thai Zombie 's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Ogar looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The Thai Zombie is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Ogar scores with a couple of nice shots.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ogar connects with a nice short shot to The Thai Zombie 's temple.
Ogar slips a nice elbow through The Thai Zombie 's hands, connecting with The Thai Zombie 's forehead.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ogar lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Ogar tries to pass to full mount but The Thai Zombie defends it.
Ogar thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Ogar looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Ogar is nestled in close to The Thai Zombie , controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Ogar seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Ogar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with The Thai Zombie . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ogar fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Ogar cracks The Thai Zombie with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
