Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Corleone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Tyson's choice of entrance music: Dark Tranquillity - Lethe . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Kavanagh and Lou da Vinci.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corleone ducks under a wild hook from Tyson.
Tyson misses with a straight left.
Corleone pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Tyson fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Corleone on the side of the head.
Tyson misses with a kick to the body.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Tyson.
Tyson just misses with a punch to the body.
Corleone connects with a leg kick. Tyson looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Corleone feints and then cracks Tyson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Tyson down.
Corleone avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Corleone dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Tyson. That did some damage!

Corleone clinches up with Tyson and pushes him back against the cage.
Corleone creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
With the fighters up against the cage, Corleone throws an elbow but misses.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tyson on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Corleone walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Corleone has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Tyson finds it's way round the side to connect with Corleone 's head.
Corleone motions for Tyson to come forward. Corleone throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Tyson lands a glancing blow to the side of Corleone 's head.
The fighters circling - Tyson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Tyson scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Tyson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Corleone sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Corleone takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Tyson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Corleone pushes Tyson up against the cage in a clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Tyson fails to land.
Corleone is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Tyson is defending well for now.
Tyson lands a hook to the side of the head.
Corleone tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Tyson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tyson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Corleone lands a leg kick that knocks Tyson off balance momentarily.

Tyson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tyson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Corleone moves away.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Tyson tries to keep at a distance but Corleone has taken the fight into the clinch.

Corleone throws an elbow but it's blocked.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jason Tyson dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Corleone displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tyson throws out the jab.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tyson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

The fight stays on the outside here - Corleone looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Tyson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jason Tyson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tyson drops Corleone with a right and a left! Tyson comes rushing in but Corleone regains his composure and manages to keep Tyson in guard.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Corleone is looking to stand up but Tyson isn't so interested in that idea.
Oh Corleone is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tyson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Corleone seems to have got his legs back now.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jason Tyson wasn't active enough on the ground.
Tyson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Corleone can pounce on him.
Tyson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Tyson connects with a right that clearly hurt Corleone . He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Tyson proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Corleone collapses and taps out under the pressure!
