Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frank Mikkelsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomasz Kacprzak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mikkelsen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Dry kill logic, Nightmare. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Frank Mikkelsen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tomasz Kacprzak!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mikkelsen shoots in looking for a takedown. Kacprzak tries to sprawl out of it but Mikkelsen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kacprzak manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kacprzak throws a head kick but Mikkelsen moves out of range.
Kacprzak is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Mikkelsen.
Kacprzak keeps the fight on the outside.
Mikkelsen is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Mikkelsen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Kacprzak tries to break the clinch but Mikkelsen is controlling the position.

Mikkelsen manages to break the clinch.
Tomasz Kacprzak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kacprzak throws a sloppy head kick and Mikkelsen moves out of range easily.
Mikkelsen shoots for a takedown but Kacprzak saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kacprzak ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Kacprzak misses with a head kick.
Mikkelsen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kacprzak throws out the jab.

Mikkelsen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kacprzak swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kacprzak throws a head kick but Mikkelsen moves out of range.
Mikkelsen goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Mikkelsen walks into a jab.
Kacprzak chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Mikkelsen blocks a head kick by Kacprzak.
Kacprzak circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mikkelsen fails to land with a series of punches.
Mikkelsen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kacprzak swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Mikkelsen throws a series of punches but Kacprzak moves out of range.

Mikkelsen wants to clinch.
Kacprzak lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Kacprzak dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mikkelsen. That did some damage!
Kacprzak lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Kacprzak throws a sloppy head kick and Mikkelsen moves out of range easily.
Tomasz Kacprzak is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A head kick misses from Mikkelsen.
Kacprzak throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kacprzak ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kacprzak throws a head kick but Mikkelsen moves out of range.
Mikkelsen looks to land a body kick but Kacprzak moved away.
Kacprzak tries a head kick but it misses.
Mikkelsen turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Kacprzak lands with a kick to the ribs.
Kacprzak throws a sloppy head kick and Mikkelsen moves out of range easily.
Kacprzak looks gassed!
Mikkelsen lands a body shot.
Mikkelsen pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Mikkelsen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kacprzak sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mikkelsen somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Mikkelsen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kacprzak throws a head kick that misses

and Mikkelsen counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kacprzak's guard now.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Mikkelsen showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mikkelsen trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kacprzak's guard.
Mikkelsen preventing the sweep.
Mikkelsen wants to stand and escape but instead Kacprzak has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Kacprzak stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mikkelsen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kacprzak trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Kacprzak controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Kacprzak wants to control from the top but Mikkelsen keeps moving.
Kacprzak throwing strikes but missing.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mikkelsen is on top in guard.
Kacprzak wants to stand but Mikkelsen is controlling the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Frank Mikkelsen will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action!


Kacprzak buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Mikkelsen avoids the head kick by Kacprzak.
Kacprzak swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Mikkelsen counters with a straight that turns Kacprzak's legs to rubber! Mikkelsen pushes forward with more strikes and Kacprzak goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank Mikkelsen!
Frank Mikkelsen very nearly forgot to thank The Adrenaline Matrix amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
