The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot lands for Sandoval.
Gracie changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sandoval looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Sandoval gets back to half guard.
Gracie thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Sandoval is not content to let Gracie control the position.
Gracie landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Gracie tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Gracie misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Gracie throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Sandoval because Gracie loaded up on that one.
Gracie can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sandoval is looking to escape.

It looks like Juanito Sandoval has been cut.
