Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris Kringle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rufus McGrufus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kringle comes to the cage accompanied by Wating on the world to change, by John Mayer. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kringle looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McGrufus is fending him off so far but Kringle persists. Nope, McGrufus circles away and we're back to standing.

McGrufus lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kringle is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

McGrufus lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
McGrufus buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

McGrufus walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kringle checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Kringle shoots in for a takedown but McGrufus shows good takedown defense.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Chris Kringle will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

McGrufus throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Kringle crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
