Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Craig Connors (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Allen is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by On In Five - BoySetsFire. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Craig Connors!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Allen!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Sam Margolis and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connors throws a right hand that misses
and Allen counters with a nice uppercut.
Allen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Connors swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nice defenses there by Allen.
Allen throws a head kick that misses.
Allen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Some wild striking there from Allen.

Connors has taken the fight to the clinch.
Connors is trying to break the clinch but Allen has him pressed against the cage.
Allen blocking some punches.

Allen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Connors.
Allen misses with a wild combination.
Allen moves in looking to clinch but Connors pushes him off.
Connors moves out of range of the leg kick from Allen.
Connors throws a right and a left that both miss.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Connors gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Connors tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Allen's elbow.
A frustrated look appears on Connors's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Connors throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Allen has Connors pressed against the cage, preventing Connors from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Connors lands a right hand.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Connors.

Allen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Allen wants to clinch.
Connors shoots for a double leg takedown but Allen sprawls well. He's pushed Connors's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Allen stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Craig Connors. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Connors fails with the takedown.
Connors keeps the fight on the outside.
Allen slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Allen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Connors manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Connors looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Allen is fending him off so far but Connors persists. Nope, Allen circles away and we're back to standing.
Connors misses with a jab, cross combination.
Allen throws a right and a left that Connors avoids nicely.
No joy there for Connors, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Allen throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Allen closes the distance and pushes Connors back into the cage.
Connors trying to stall but Allen improves his position.
Connors is trying to break free.

Connors breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Allen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Connors fails with a takedown attempt.

Allen pushes Connors up against the cage in a clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Connors creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Allen breaks the clinch.
Allen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Connors paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A jab from Connors finds it's way through Allen's defenses.
A nice inside leg kick there by Allen. That's going to slow Connors down.
Allen wants to clinch up but Connors keeps it at a distance.
No joy there for Allen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Allen wants to clinch.
Connors checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Allen lands a jab to Connors's midsection.
Connors is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Allen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Connors but Connors pushes him off and we're back to square one.
An inside leg kick from Allen misses.
Allen throws a body kick that misses.
Connors shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Allen scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Allen's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Allen duly obliges.
Connors chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Allen can pounce on him.

Allen lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Connors sprawling to the canvas. Allen follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Connors hang on?


It looks like Craig Connors has been cut.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Allen thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Connors's head.
Allen takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Allen missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

Allen seems to be looking for submissions.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Allen decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Allen gets in close and instigates a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dave Allen dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Craig Connors's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Connors gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Allen.
Allen tries to clinch up.
Craig Connors is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Connors tries to keep at a distance but Allen has taken the fight into the clinch.
Connors dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Allen looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Connors escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Connors rushes Allen and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Connors goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Allen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Allen tries to clinch up but Connors circles away and keeps his distance.
Allen tries to clinch but Connors moves out of range.
Allen slips a straight right by Connors.
Connors looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Connors. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Connors looks to land a left hand but Allen moved out of range nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Allen rushes Connors and presses him up against the cage.
Allen has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Connors tries to work over Allen's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
A body shot lands from Connors.
Allen is trying to drag Connors to the mat but Connors just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Allen blocks an uppercut.
Stalling in the clinch from Connors.
Connors is trying to force a seperation but Allen has the dominant position.
Allen jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Connors walks away with a smile on his face. Allen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Allen doesn't manage to clinch there - Connors circles away.

Allen drops Connors with a right and a left! Allen comes rushing in but Connors regains his composure and manages to keep Allen in guard.


Connors is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Allen stands and steps away. Connors gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Oh Connors is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Connors changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Allen tries to avoid it but Connors manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Allen to the ground. Allen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Allen grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Connors takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Allen cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Dave Allen!
