Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boris Kharitonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Huima Kostaja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kharitonov has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kostaja misses with a takedown attempt - Kharitonov sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Kharitonov is breathing heavily.

It looks like Boris Kharitonov has been cut.

Kostaja shoots in for a double leg but Kharitonov sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kostaja throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Kostaja lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Kharitonov sprawling to the canvas. Kostaja follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Kharitonov hang on?

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kostaja is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Oh Kharitonov is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Kostaja throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Kharitonov has his hands clasped together but Kostaja breaks the hold and Kharitonov is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Kostaja!
