Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Frank Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Ferrier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frank Dux!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, John Mangel and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dux shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ferrier defends it nicely.
Dux misses with a takedown

and Ferrier counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Dux's guard now.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dux is on top in guard.
Ferrier is controlling Dux's posture.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Ferrier has his foot on Dux's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dux works his way back into a safe position though.
Ferrier not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ferrier doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Dux sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ferrier's guard.

Dux is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Dux winds up and cracks Ferrier with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Dux is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Dux is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Ferrier has managed to free his arm - good work.

Dux throwing shots but Ferrier is blocking nicely.
Dux tries to pass to full mount but Ferrier defends it.

Dux wants to work for an arm triangle but Ferrier is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Ferrier regains full guard. Nicely done.
Ferrier is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Dux advances position into side control!

Dux wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ferrier, who protects the arm well.

Dux swings around for an armbar but Ferrier sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Dux's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dux is on top in guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Ferrier is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dux defends well.
Ferrier can't keep his opponent in guard - Dux advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dux connects with a nice short shot to Ferrier's temple.
Dux is thwarting Ferrier's attempts to control the position.
Dux working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Dux maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Ferrier could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Dux has cracked it and Ferrier is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Dux!
